Invisalign Fort Worth TX – Clear Braces

Invisalign straightens your teeth with a series of clear, virtually invisible custom molded aligners. Only certified dentists, like Dr. Phillips, who have been certified and underwent extensive training by Invisalign are allowed to perform the treatment on patients. Have the smile you’ve always wanted — without the hassle of braces.

The Clear Alternative To Metal Braces

By using a series of clear, removable aligners, Invisalign straightens your teeth with results you’ll notice sooner than you think. The course of treatment involves changing aligners approximately every two weeks, moving your teeth into straighter position step by step, until you have a more beautiful smile. And unlike braces, these clear aligners can be removed while you eat and brush your teeth as usual.

Less Treatment Time

An average Invisalign course of treatment takes about a year. You’ll see Dr. Phillips every 6 to 8 weeks for adjustments and to check progress. At regular intervals, you’ll receive a new set of custom-molded clear aligners to continue the straightening process. The total number of clear aligners is specific to you, determined by your doctor for your course of treatment.

Clear and Comfortable

Since Invisalign is practically invisible, there’s no unwarranted attention to your mouth. In fact, very few people will notice at all – unless you tell them. They’re comfortable to wear and remove easily when you eat, brush, and floss.

All across the country, people like you now have great smiles and straighter teeth, thanks to Invisalign. Why not join them? Call us to find out if Invisalign is right for you. That gorgeous smile you want is just a call away!

Frequently Asked Questions

Why use the Invisalign teeth straightening system?

Dr. Brit Phillips is a proponent of the Invisalign® system because it is only slightly invasive, yet highly effective for tooth straitening. Invisalign fits well with Mira Vista Smiles creates a successful, low-stress dental experience.  Invisalign goes beyond the boundaries of traditional adult orthodontic procedures because the patient wears a series of clear polymer aligners to gradually realign crooked teeth instead of unsightly wires, bands, and brackets. Most of the patient’s friends and co-workers will be unaware of the re-alignment process.  More importantly, the Invisalign system usually only takes 6 – 12 months for completion compared to “conventional” technologies which may last several years.

How does the Invisalign system work?

The Invisalign teeth straitening system is a relatively simple and painless process. After an initial examination, x-rays and digital photos of your mouth will be taken.  Dr. Brit Phillips and his staff will then take impressions of your teeth. The impressions are turned into molds and sent off to the Invisalign labs where the clear plastic aligners are made. This initial visit usually takes 1 ½ hours. You will return, in a few weeks and Mira Vista Smiles will make sure the “clear braces” fit your teeth properly. For the next two weeks, you will wear clear braces 24 hours a day, except when you are eating or brushing your teeth. During this time your teeth will gradually start to re-align. You will then return to the office, receive a new set of Invisalign aligners and the process will start all over again.

How can I create more dramatic cosmetic results using Invisalign Aligners?

In certain situations, the patient may be able to combine the Invisalign system with porcelain veneers to eliminate other flaws such as poorly shaped, chipped or discolored teeth. A porcelain veneer is a thin glass-like shell of porcelain that fits over the existing tooth to improve its aesthetics or protect its surface.  The combination of these two dental procedures helps improve the look of the tooth as well as realign its placement in the mouth.
